My sport suffers from a lack of public following, not just in Spore but worldwide. In fact, the truly fast runners are not accredited, or even widely known because they are not regularly hyped. Those from the western world, with big shoe contracts and famous coaches, are regularly featured on the web and in magazines.
To the point that some up and coming kid (and this one really shows promise) coming in 9th in an international meet is featured. So what if he PR?? What about writing about the winner?? Its a bit like the camera showing Tiger all the time, even when he's not leadng. What about the leader and the eventual champion??
